Throughout my photography career (so far) I have taken senior photos, maternity and newborn photos, wedding and engagement pictures, and family photos.
Towards the end of college, I really took an interest in sport photography. I applied for the college newspaper and and strictly took photographs of different sporting events. I was on the sidelines at almost every game, from football to softball or baseball to basketball. I loved it all. However, when I graduated college, I stopped taking photographs at sporting events. I really stopped taking pictures all together. I started working in healthcare and since the pandemic, I haven't stopped.
I currently work at a local hospital in the emergency department reviewing patient's medications. While I love my job, I miss taking photographs of people. I recently started getting back into it, taking pictures of my friends and family and I've grown to love it even more than I did before. I think that I burnt myself out on photography while in college. I can't wait to see this year leads to in the creative world. Praying for lots of creative thinking and lots of photographs!
