Wow. 2018 has been a real doosey, let me tell you that. Immediately following graduation in December of 2017, I stopped taking pictures. Between sporting events and two photography classes, I had burned myself out. And fast. Between this wonderful session and December, I maybe picked up my camera three times. Once when my town had an ice storm roll through, the second when all of the peonies in my town bloomed, and the third was Cody and I went to the Tail of the Dragon.
I do still love photography.
I had to fall in love with taking pictures and the editing aspects of it. It was hard and sometimes frustrating, but I believe this session was worth it.
It was a real blessing with Josie contacted me in order to take pictures of her and (her) Cody for the 10 years together and five years married. It was well worth the long wait and time away from my camera.
Without further ado, here are my absolute favorites from my first session back --
