Earlham Baseball | March 6, 2016

During the spring semester of 2016, I had the pleasure of watching the Earlham baseball team in Richmond, Indiana. The guys in these photos and the rest of the team have made this semester so worth it for me and without knowing, they have also helped me decide on my career path and what I wanted to focus more on in school. I started working for my college's newspaper, The Miami Student, as a contributing sports photographer. I have also decided on my future as a sports publicist/photographer for after I graduate from Miami University. It was an awesome feeling I got after the first couple games I was able to go to when I realized my calling.

Megan | Senior (Full Post)

I've known Megan for a long time now and she's become a sister that I've never had. Not only is she pretty, or that she has the bluest eyes you've ever seen, but she is an amazing singer and she basically leads the school musicals at Union County. She's a bright light in everyone's life and I can't wait to see where she goes after high school.

Megan was such a trooper during her senior pictures! Not only did she have me to drag her around, but she brought her mom and three of her best friends. Yes, she basically had her own entourage for the day, but having all those people there made the time go smoothly.

Now, here is Miss Megan in all her glory!

Brenna

Brenna and I know each other from work. We became friends when I started working, but we became better friends in February after we both had some hard times. Her and I go on dates for ice cream, girl talk, and adventures. And of course when we go on adventures, I can't help but bring my camera. The first three photos are from an adventure in March and the last three are from today!

Where I'm headed...

Okay, so I know a couple posts ago, I mentioned that I was really into concert and show photography. Well... I decided to ditch that idea because I came to the realization that my chances of being a show photographer is very slim with being a college student and not very many people are into buying my photos from concerts.

I decided then, that I would take a small break from doing photography to decide on what I want to do more. During my break, I took some pictures of my brothers doing what they love, sports. Having two brothers who play sports all year round make it really easy for me to take pictures of them. I have started to really enjoy sport photography and I never imagined myself getting into it or liking what I see. I finally decided to take THE chance and switched my major and my minors around to aim high towards this goal. So far, it has been a little rocky, but I know there will be clear and clean waves coming my way soon.
